P&G Children's Safe Drinking Water Program
The P&G Children's Safe Drinking Water Program (CSDW) is a non-profit initiative that has provided 5 billion liters of clean drinking water to people in need since 2004. CSDW has partnered with a diverse network of organizations to help distribute P&G's Purifier of Water packets in developing countries.
P&G’s Purifier of Water packet was created to enable people anywhere in the world to purify dirty water in a simple, affordable and convenient way. The small sachet contains a powdered mixture that removes pathogenic microorganisms and suspended matter, quickly turning ten liters of dirty, potentially deadly water into clean and drinkable water. The compact and inexpensive sachets can be distributed to remote locations, disaster sites, or wherever contaminated water persists.
